The vision for our farm operation began in 1992 when Paul and Doris purchased twenty acres of land with the intention of creating a small, sustainable farm and homestead for the family. Since then, equipment has been acquired, barns have been built and a home-base for operations has been prepared. Turtle Pace Farm began full-time operation for vegetable and fruit farming in 2016.
By creating a small, family-owned and operated farm on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, we strive to develop a self-sustaining and profitable farm while providing a healthy place for children and our grandchildren that will instill in them a love and a passion for organic, sustainable farming.
Our plans are to grow the farm operation at a slow and steady pace which gives us the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the farm and the abundance of turtles on the property.
