Paul and Doris farmed vegetables on the east end of Long Island in the early 1980’s where Paul took courses at the Cornell Cooperative Extension for plant pathology. Wanting to learn more about the specific growing conditions on the Eastern Shore, Paul and Doris attended the Small Farm Conference at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and completed the Master Gardener’s program in 2015.
