This has been a banner year for handy new garden tools, thanks to some great gifts from my husband, children and friends. Just in time for some early spring pruning, my husband surprised me with a new pair of pruning shears for Valentine’s Day. What a surprise when the Gebel’s North sent my new favorite tool for Mother’s Day. It’s a Hori-Hori knife and I wonder what I ever did without it. Next was my birthday and my thoughtful husband added another tool to my collection. It’s a Ho-Mi Digger with a 5′ handle. No more bending over for me. One more item inspired by watching me do battle with the bermuda grass in my herb garden was this hand pick. Watch out weeds, you don’t stand a chance.
